Trucks, Boots, and Wild Flowers- Sara & Bo

Planning a wedding throughout COVID-19 is stressful, but oh so worth it for Sara & Bo. Sara had a beautiful country wedding vision with wildflowers, hunter green, and antique trucks in mind. With this wedding, not a single detail was missed from having drinks provided pre-ceremony to the small flowers added to the reception chair sashes. What a beautiful way to begin our 2020 Wedding Season.

Both wedding and reception were held at the Landfall Lodge located outside of Winchester, VA where they have a beautiful pond ceremony sight, and barn for cocktail hour and reception. With it being a hot June day, Sara decided to have a small bar with water and beer at the ceremony. This was much appreciated by the guests, and so was the shade from a row of beautiful trees. Since it is a walk from the bridal suite to the ceremony, the venue has antique trucks that the wedding party used to make an grand entrance. I thought this was the perfect unique twist to this country wedding.

Keeping the uniqueness going, they decided to brand a sign for their Unity Ceremony.

This wedding party was a fun loving group, and were a pleasure to work with. They had some Ah-mazing shots from Rebecca Dotson Photography.

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers everywhere! Walking Winds Farm did a beautiful job with centerpieces, and ceremony aisle flowers. Sara had extra jars, so her mother and I arranged them and were able to fill the room with flowers.

What a wedding to begin the season with! We loved planning and decorating with Sara, and her mother, Deb. Here's to a great season!
