There's something timeless about the elegance of Southern charm, and our recent styled shoot at Court Manor in Virginia was nothing short of a dream come true. Inspired by French blue toile and a soft palette of romantic pinks, this shoot was our ode to classic elegance with a fresh, whimsical twist.
From the moment guests would arrive at the grand estate, they'd be swept up in the serene beauty of rolling fields, historic architecture, and thoughtful details layered throughout the day. Our team at Sarah K Events had the honor of designing, planning, and coordinating every element — and we truly poured our hearts into bringing this vision to life.
The Setting
Court Manor provided the perfect backdrop for our vision — timeless and stately, yet effortlessly romantic. Cocktail hour was hosted inside the manor, offering cozy elegance and vintage flair, while the reception unfolded under a stunning tent draped in soft linens and candlelight.

Southern Hospitality, Styled
One of our favorite touches? The Tip Top Tap Truck & Mobile Tap Bars, serving up charming mocktails that felt both fun and refined. Paired with our cozy lounge seating, it created the perfect space for relaxed mingling with a side of Instagram-worthy charm.
The horse-drawn carriage from Classic Carriage LLC added a magical, storybook feel — the kind of detail that turns a moment into a memory. From first looks to farewell kisses, it was the perfect touch of Southern romance.

Fashion & Florals
Our bride, the radiant Karrington Childress, wore a stunning Justin Alexander gown from The Valley Bride, while Alex Moore looked dashing in a tuxedo from Classic Men's Wear. Their bridal party — Jolie Jenkins as Maid of Honor and Wyatt Jenkins as Best Man — complemented the theme flawlessly.
The florals, designed by the talented team at Petal Pushers, wove together garden-style arrangements in dreamy pinks, delicate blues, and lush greenery. Every bouquet and centerpiece felt like it was plucked straight from a spring romance novel.

Sweet Touches & Sentiment
We were enchanted by the fine details — from Shenandoah Fine Chocolates’ decadent favors to Tiers In Heaven LLC’s exquisite cake design that echoed the toile motif. Hand-etched custom glassware from Enchanting Lanterns, plus signage and stationery by Written in the Stars and Blissful Designs, gave every space a personal, artistic touch.
